Cannabis at Events: The Law, The Facts & The Culinary Options

When:  Nov 20, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM (ET)
Associated with  Michigan Chapter

You may not imbibe in cannabis, but your clients probably do.

How does the legalization of marijuana in Michigan affect you and your events?  What permits/ licenses are necessary to feature cannabis legally?  What liabilities do you have as a venue, event planner, caterer?  How should you prepare your service staff?

How can cannabis go beyond brownies and sweets to be included in “real food” savory dishes?  What does your chef need to know about portioning to include cannabis in your recipes?  “The experience isn’t about getting high, it’s about enjoying your food comfortably.” -Chef Sunflower

ILEA Detroit is your resource for event trend forecasting: get the answers before your clients ask the questions!  Join us for lunch at the MGM Grand on Wednesday, November 20th to be educated by the local experts.
